A few months after my 15-year-old son, BJ, died from the most curable type of childhood cancer, a friend offered me a Biofield Tuning session. She said that it could help ease the trauma I had suffered and identify other emotional events in my life that I had repressed. I wasn't in a good place. My whole life had turned upside down and I was completely lost. I was so weighed down with grief and sheer devastation that I was barely breathing, let alone being present for my 11-year-old daughter. The first session was incredibly powerful and with regular Biofield Tuning, I soon realized that I felt like myself again.
I'm not sugar-coating it - it was hard. I had a lot of raw emotions to process - to feel, acknowledge, and finally let them go. I truly believe that the way out is always through. You can't escape those tough feelings. When you repress them, they will always come back in one way or another. It's always best to give those emotions the time they deserve and then release them. This is the path to healing. Biofield Tuning helps to locate those areas in your field that have repressed emotions, untangle them from that area, and bring them into balance so that they stop creating physical ailments and illnesses.
I know without a doubt that these energy healing sessions are the reason that I can live my life without being completely weighed down by the trauma and grief that I experienced throughout my son’s cancer journey and loss of his life. What is Reiki?
According to the International Center for Reiki Training, Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
